Best Restaurants in Evans, GA
1. Cork & Flame

Cork & Flame is the only place in the area that offers 4 and 8-course tasting experiences, along with wine pairings (there is an adjoining wine market to the restaurant itself). The menu rotates seasonally and does not disappoint.
Price: Salads & Sides under $20, with entrees ranging from $20-$40 a plate. If it is a date night, plan on spending between $100 to $175 total. More, if you plan on pairing with wine.
Pro Tip: Get a reservation for dinner during peak seasons or plan on waiting.
2. Laziza
Kebabs, shawarma, and falafel are classic choices in this restaurant with a focus on Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine. Laziza Mediterranean Grill now has a location in downtown off Broad Street. However, its original shop is out in Evans.
Price: $12 for a wrap, $14 for a large plate
Pro Tip: They had a food truck at one point that I would frequently see downtown.
3. Goolsby’s

This spot offers some of the best pork ribs in Evans, GA. If you happen to love barbecue, check out this article all about the best BBQ spots in the Augusta. Goolsby’s was originally located out in Lincolnton, and now has locations here in Evans and out in Grovetown.
According to their website:
“The Goolsby’s story is a simple one. It all started around 1980 with barbecue cooked the old fashioned way behind the family’s old country store.”
Goolsby’s Site
Price: Large plate for $10. They also offer kids meals for $4.60 and less.
Pro Tip: Only local place I have found with an excellent fried pork loin steak. Tastes amazing with Goolsby’s Georgia-style BBQ sauce.
4. Thai Kitchen
This is my go-to for Pad Thai when I am out in Columbia County. They also offer duck, which is not an option I have seen at most local Thai places.
Price: $13 for a large plate
Pro Tip: Since it is in the Kroger shopping center, it can be easy to miss when plugged into Google Maps. Just turn in at the Kroger sign.
5. Main China
If a place can consistently provide that delicious sesame, kung pao, and General Tsou’s chicken, then it quickly becomes a regular spot. Main China has always delivered that for me over the past 5 years, so I keep going back. It is American Chinese cuisine, and will always be a favorite.
Price: $11 for large entree
Pro Tip: Get the large sesame chicken. You don’t get an eggroll, but you get more chicken.
6. Miyabi Jr.
The hibachi and teriyaki bowls are straightforward with options for chicken, steak, shrimp, and fish. The original restaurant was started in Charleston, SC, but Miyabi Jr. Express has expanded to include 11 locations in the Southeast. And it’s one of the best hibachi spots in Augusta!
Price: Under $9 for a bowl, under $11 for an entree
Pro Tip: Always ask for extra sauces. Always.

7. Pho Bac
I’d never had really good Vietnamese soup with the noodles and thinly sliced chicken or beef until coming to Pho Bac. The noodle dishes and pork sandwiches (Banh Mi) are also excellent choices!
Price: Under $15 for a plate.
Pro Tip: Go with the Braised Pork Belly sandwich (Banh Mi Thit Ko)
8. For Sub Sandwiches, Publix Deli on Washington Rd.

Speaking of sandwiches, the classic sub at Publix is among the best anywhere in the Southeast United States. And this makes sense, as Publix has both bakery and deli for direct supply to the sandwich line.
Price: Under $8 for a foot long sub.
Pro Tip: Get the daily sandwich special. Also, order ahead. The popularity creates lines at the deli.
Menu Here – it varies regularly, so check the local store.
9. Takosushi for Sushi
Takosushi‘s menu contains both Japanese and Southwestern dishes, which makes it stand out. Overall, a great choice if you want both those options at one restaurant. It’s one of the best sushi spots in Augusta and worth checking out!
Price: Cheapest Makimono Roll is $7.50 and goes up to $14.50.
Pro Tip: Tempura Asparagus. Also, they have an excellent burger. But for sushi, the prices are on the higher end locally.
10. German Food? Augsburg Haus

If you enjoy German bread and schnitzel, check out Augsburg Haus, as it is the only German restaurant in the area. Named after the Bavarian city of Augsburg, the name translates to Augsburg Home.
Price: $16 for an entree, under $10 for a sandwich.
Pro Tip: Bratwurst and rolls. Get those.
11. For Mexican Food, Salsa’s Bar & Grill
As you leave Augsburg Haus, within walking distance is Salsa’s Bar & Grill. The menu is very much American-Mexican food, with dozens of options. If you’re interested in more authentic style street tacos, check out these taquerias in Augusta too.
Price: $14 for a meal
Pro Tip: Great chips and dip. Go for the Lunch Tacos.
