Why Go Here: Low prices and excellent quality keep me returning. You can buy an individual cookie for $1.50 or a dozen at $13.50. Also, try the Red Velvet Cake for birthdays.

3. Edgar’s Bakehouse

Formerly known as Higher Grounds Cafe, the shop was recently rebranded as Edgar’s Bakehouse under Michael Romano, Executive Pastry Chef for Edgar’s Hospitality Group. Chef Romano hails from New York City and has won multiple competitions on the Food Network.

Delightful Bites Bakery has catered for many local events I’ve attended, and the food has always been outstanding (especially the wedding cakes). They offer five different types of cookies, with a host of delicious cupcakes and cakes.
